Global Student Embassy
Global Student Embassy will be returning to Northwest Prep this year as we work on becoming more aware as global citizens. Please check out Global Student Embassy's website at www.globalstudentembassy.org to find out more about this wonderful program. The opportunities explored through GSE involvement are helping to focus our students in becoming active, informed citizens empowered to create change in themselves, their communities and their world. Our school is one of only 5 high schools in Sonoma County that are working with GSE.
We hope to host more students from Ecuador and Nicaragua this coming year. Our focus together is on leadership training, community action, challenging our own views of other people of other cultures and engaging in discussion based on project planning and sharing projects. One of our own seniors last year traveled with Global Student Embassy to Ecuador over her spring break to work on a reforestation project and getting to know more about Ecuadorian culture.
